Protest in Pulwama against Srinagar killings

PULWAMA (KIMS) — The citizens from all walks of life on Thursday came together and marched from DC Office to Main Chowk Pulwama in a powerful protest against Srinagar attack which claimed lives of two persons—Amrit Pal Singh and Rohit Mashi.

The protest, which included civilians, youth, traders, civil society members, and social activists was aimed to condemn the militant attack in Srinagar yesterday and to advocate peace, unity and justice.

The protest also showcased the community’s united stand against acts of violence and terror.

A social activist, Mudasir Dar, who was among the participants leading the protest emphasized the importance of solidarity and collective action in combating terrorism and promoting peace.

“Today, we stand together as one voice against the forces of terror that seek to divide us,” he said.

“Our unity and resilience are our strongest weapons against such heinous acts. We demand justice for the victims and call for an end to senseless violence,” he added

The protest garnered widespread support from the local community, with residents expressing their determination to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, and inclusivity.

As the procession made its way through the streets of Pulwama, bystanders joined in, echoing the call for peace and justice.

In the face of adversity, the community once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to peace and solidarity and end to terrorism and violence, through collective action and determination.

“Terrorism will not prevail and the spirit of unity will triumph,” they said in a resounding message. — (KIMS)
