Residences of two Hurriyat leaders among six locations raided in Kashmir

SRINAGAR — As part of its investigation of a militancy funding case, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir on Tuesday morning conducted raids at six locations across Kashmir valley.

Quoting an official, news agency KDC reported that the sleuths of the investigating agency with the assistance of the local police and the CRPF carried out raids at the residential houses of two Hurriyat leaders Bilal Ahmad Sidique at Rajbagh and Bashir Molvi at Aloochi Bagh areas of Srinagar.

The official said that the raids are also being conducted in North Kashmir’s Baramulla and Kupwara districts.

He said the searches are being carried out in a militancy funding registered case under FIR No 22/2022 of Police Station CIK/SIA Kashmir. Further details of the raids will be shared later.
